My stay at Sanco Inn Kyoto Hachijoguchi Shikinoyu was delightful. The room was pristine and pleasantly aromatic upon arrival. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, readily available to assist with my queries. Solo traveler definitely satisfied
The air conditioning was controllable which was great for me, I hate when I can't adjust my own comfort. And the pillow selection was a lifesaver! I can’t deal with those super high pillows like many places have, so this was a huge plus for me.
It wasn't cheap, but acceptable.

location across from Kyoto station, self-service laundry facilities, artificial onsen
The room layout felt cramped, especially with suitcases!!! Towel size leaves much to be desired!!! It would be nice to have a proper seating area to get work done!!!

I had a really nice stay with a comfy bed and the room was super well-equipped. Enjoyed the onsen every evening and loved the self-service breakfast with so many tasty options. The only thing that could use a little work is the morning service, but overall, an excellent experience! 😊

Great wifi and electric kettle for morning tea. Room was a bit small for bags.

Conveniently located just across the station, the self check-in and luggage storage were lifesavers! The room felt fresh and had all the little extras you’d need, nail clippers, borrowable items, and good free coffee!
The bathroom was a tad cramped, and navigating with two bags was like a game of Tetris! At least my luggage didn’t need a passport this time!

Exceptional Location and Amenities
I was really impressed by the convenient location right across from the Kyoto Station, which made getting around a breeze. The breakfast spread was fantastic with a great variety to fuel my day, and I absolutely loved the onsen that was open late into the night, allowing me to unwind after a busy day exploring. One small downside was the bathroom layout, which felt a bit cramped, but it was still functional.

Conveniently located right outside the station, the hotel offers a pillow bar which was a delightful surprise. Cleanliness and comfort were paramount, though the room was quite small for two large bags. Breakfast was decent, but the onsen area could have used more seating for relaxation.
